The disk is MFM + ADOS and the actual data disk is the ADOS part which is loaded from within Damocles!

If you make an ADF from the SPS version it will still work as the data disk but the MFM bit won't work as it's for the on disk manual/hints when you boot the disk.

There is a cracked Mission Disk 1 by the Black Monks that Galahad pointed out but I can't find it on the file server

today someone suggest me a compilation disk that it seem have Damocles: Mission Disk. Now i will check it.

good it works. Mission Disk 1 is a "save disk". There is a utility in the disk that create the file

Actually I made an error, the MFM tracks on the disk are for both DATA DISK & Manual/Hints!!

The Astronuts_Wise Man disk just creates the MFM save data for Damocles on tracks 4-13, not the Manual/Hints!

I don't follow any streamers so no idea, but there are 4 Mercenary games plus 2 Mission Disks so a 1 disk release might not be possible:

Mercenary: Escape From Targ
Mercenary: The Second City
Damocles (Mercenary II)
Damocles Mission Disk 1
Damocles Mission Disk 2
Mercenary III The Dion Crisis

Is it possibe to get all those on 1 disk complete with the Mission Disks and the manual/hints for them?

Both mission disks use the same tracks for save/load so easier to leave them as MFM and create a save disk rather than piss about altering the program to change the save/load routines to cater for both mission disks. Plus there is only 4 tracks free on the disk so probably not possible to put both data disks on anyway! The manual/hints are on the disk so needing 2 extra disks for saves is the compromise.

If it was possible to cram everything on to 1 disk it would have been done but probably not possible! Mind you, ross might pop up and prove us all wrong, he does like a challenge
