Are people still complaining about this list? Good god, just look at it, take it for what it is and possibly comment on it without making stupid comments about why x,y and z aren't in the list.

I could never get into Fire and Ice because of how sluggish the main character moves.

Who would have thought that AP would still arouse this much 'discussion' after so much time?
All for the wrong reasons though. Obv. |

well,well,well.. I want to apologize if someone gots angry.
I dont tried to insult anyone. Im not brithis and I never readed AmigaPower. I readed the list carefully, but to tell the truth I readed next of the thread fastly,. Seems AmigaPower looked for a different style, I never bought an issue because I never liked its covers and viewing the interior in a fast way do not seemed interesting to me. That list seemed pathetic to me, I expressed that with total freedom. I gave it importance,.. but reading the whole thread seems the list was made without take too much importance to itself. Then, I guess I took that list too much seriously,.. I even searched that invented game from Anco on HOL,.. I suppose that was more or less the purpose of the guy who wrote in the list. Now I learned I dont have to say words like "pathetic" in a thread I didnt readed carefully. Big excuses for that, specially to Codyjarret. Last edited by JudasEZT; 07 April 2004 at 00:45. |

Amiga Power still [!!] devides alot of opinion. Some cherish the magazine somwhat obsessively at times, this may be due to the nostalgia that emerges when a thing or time manifests in the memory with no immediate contact. Looking back, many of the reasons I liked AP was due to the fact that I was in my mid to early teens. As a grown man I view it a little differently.
There are also those people who dislike AP, who wanted what mags such as the One and Amiga Action offered. Whilst they certaily aren't my cup of tea I can imagine that readers who liked those magazines wouldnt get along with AP. rather like people who liked certain games and those who liked others.. Perhaps more people need to read the actually magazine to get an idea of what it was? |

Gravity Power was actually very amazing, of course you needed two people to play it I think their list is not far from accurate. As for the publishers being wrong, you have to remember that games have different publishers in different countries.
I never got into Guardian, though. A great read, thanks for posting it! |

Elite II 'The buggiest game of the year'? at number 9?! Wings at 10? Good to see that old Amiga favourite: Wipeout 2097 at number 49 though |

Those games Judas likes are all games that did nothing for me, except for Zool 2 and, at a push, Fire and Ice. All the others were supersceded by later games. Incidentally, Core had nothing to do wtih Switchblade 2, only the first one. I suspect none of you completed the first level fo Switchblade 2 - it's brilliant after that. As for people talking up Defender of the Crown or Dungeon Master for inclusion -it's a list of the ebst games, not the most origianl or techncially-impressive.
