DocDump

(My first post, tho' I've been lurking for a while. I started with a 1.3 A500, then went to A500+ (Cartoon Classics), then A4000 EC030 desktop which i eventually put into a homebrew tower - great fun setting about the desktop case with an angle grinder to make it fit the PC case....:eek)

I remember spending many hours converting LSD doc files into little booklets using this proggy - all of which still exist today, printed out on a Star LC-10 DMP from my A4000ec030.

Question is: is it possible to use this proggy in WinUAE sending it to my LEXMARK X83, given that I can't find an Amiga printer driver on AMINET to install on my WinUAE setup.

I've searched these forums before posting, so I've either missed the solution or there isn't one to be found, so go easy on me Akira........

Lexmark printers are not amiga compatible, you will not find a driver on the net, even turboprint 7.40 doesn't support them. Your only chance is to:

Try the 'generic' driver

Search for a pc version of docdump

Buy a decent printer (ie. not lexmark or epson), try a canon inkjet or a brother laser...
