WHDLoad Keyfile issue
Hi all,
I have d/l WHDLoad 16.8 and have found that after installing and starting Moonstone (old favourite), I got the "you must register before playing" (or to that effect) and I am guttered because that's where it stops. Anyhow, I am willing to part the money and register the program, but to my frustration I have found that after trying to register using the " If your currency is not listed, check here " link, the web page cannot be found, and as such I am left unregistered. Does anyone have an idea on how I may be able to register and get my games up and running again ? PM if need be. Cheers, |

The website that cannot be found was just an exchange rate table... nothing about how to pay... did you even bother to read the rest of the registration page??
Please please do not have children, kill off the dumb genes at this generation The easiest WHDLoad registration payment is a regular PayPal transaction for €20 which is about $33 AUD |

If you dont have pay pal... then there is credit card payments too with Kagi.
You are old enough to have a credit card arent you? If not that page describes how you can send cash through the post too (although I wouldnt recommend it) Once you've paid your registration key gets emailed to you. Last edited by alexh; 23 May 2008 at 10:46. |

i'm not sure there was any need to be quite so rude to DC33. afterall, their circumstance should be taken as unknown, and some assumptions made have clearly proved wrong here.
when i registered, i wasnt 18 either, so i go my brother to write a cheque and register for me via snail mail. unfortunately, its still in his name to this day. although at least the address is still right |

Thanks to all of you for your replies (positive and not do positive).....
"Hungry Horace" - I was being sarcastic when I said I would sign up for PayPal. I am well over 18, but I do appreciate your words. I have now received my key file which I gladly paid for (thanks wepl). I am disappointed however, to say that I did find an illegal key on a file-sharing network, but be advised that it will never be used or spread. Cheers, dc33 |

You might be right.... I haven't and won't bother. Best left alone.
Funny thing is now that I am digging out my old Ami1200 and reloading all the old software/games, I find a lot of it no longer works (at least as I remember) as well as before, even under whdload !! Anyways, I am now re-living my younger days together with my 5-year old (as far as games are concerned). I hope I'm not alone........ |
