SoundFX (SFX) V4.3 by Stefan Kost

Hello everyone,

I'm going through some of my older files for my Amiga 4000D CSPPC and I came across this program. I have V4.0 which is a bit older and in demo mode, so I'm not able to save what I've done. It's a pretty cool conversion plus a lot more more, program.

Does anyone have a SFX.key? I've used DuckDuckGo.com as well as Google and all links to buying seem to be gone. If there IS still the ability to buy a key then I'm also interested in that.

Not the newest version, but you can transfer the key.

The key is the file called "00019.Amiga, Future", rename it to sfx.key.
I think the latest version of SoundFX (4.3 14th April 2005) can only be found on the homepage (lzx archives)

It IS the newest version, at least on Aminet, and on the Website I found 4.3 is it. Renamed the Amiga Future file and got it going. :-)

Tip...Don't run older versions and then the newer...it causes problems. Running the same version is fine again and again. Sweet, now to play.

WEeeeLL...aren't you a little late? Grinning. I wondered a little bit if it was some kind of Exe since an Icon (Info) was included, and being adventurous I noticed "sfx.key" is in the file. After checking the archive contents further I realized that file had to be it. Renamed, and Viola!

DirectoryOpus 5 is a great program in aiding in many things, and without a doubt Opus 4 also. So is Window's version. Heh. Ahh, yes, that is the link I was attempting to remember.

That's nothing.

To clarify:
The versions of SoundFX on the Amiga Future site and Aminet are 4.3, but they are dated 2004 in the about window (and have a 2004 upload date on Aminet). The version on the SoundFX homepage is also 4.3 but dated 2005 in the about window. The version watch panel on the homepage lists SoundFX 14-Apr-2005 4.3 as the newest version.

One of my first sound editors, happy to know there is a newer version (mine was the 3.61 version, dated in 1998, approx...)

SoundFX (and Fractal Universe) was posted as open source about two years ago:
