Minimig firmware/core update
I've havn't got a Minimig yet, but I'm getting more interested. Just read on Amiga.org that Dennis has released new firmware for the Minimig,
which he has made available on his website: http://home.hetnet.nl/~weeren001/ It's changelog: some bugs have been fixed, added error posting and added support for 256KB roms and 256KB/512KB encrypted roms. For more info see his thread on amiga.org: http://www.amiga.org/modules/newbb/v...=44989&forum=8 And there's someone else working on a fireware update. He seems to have PAL/NTSC switching and VGA output with interpolation: (but not yet the updates from Dennis's version) http://www.amiga.org/modules/newbb/v...orumpost520217 Straycat's Minimig website also is informative for anyone interested in Minimig's: http://mobileinventions.com/minimig/index.html Now to decide whether to get one of those Minimig's or wait for NatAmi . |
