"Don't select more than 8 diferent VGA modes" - Indi AGA

That's the error I get when trying some VGA modes that used to work with the card. My picture has gone south somehow and I'm trying to get it higher up vertically.

Has anyone encountered this? Google only turns up one result and it's in Polish

Did you ever figure this meaning out? I ran into the same thing recently.

My guess is that many modes are loaded or written to the card.
I might try and reflash all and start over now that I have more experience.

If anyone could offer expertise it is welcome

Well, there's only a finite amount of flash space and every separate output mode takes up one block. So, use as few output modes as you can.

Let's face it, you only really need to do pal + ntsc and then potentially HD720 or HighGFX mode if you want, that takes four.

So .. go through your input modes, see what VGA modes are used there and try to adjust them to use the same modes as much as possible.

The limitations are explained in the flashtool 1.1 package's readme file.
