MMC Replay no boot menu?
Bought one off Amibay but can't get it to show the boot menu when I power on the C64? Have put it in recovery mode and ran the recovery disk from the v0.55 update but it just sits on the red bios upgrade screen?
If you happen to read this Jens, any idea what could be wrong or anything else to try? Also, if it is faulty can it be repaired? Not my week for buying retro stuff |

Sorted!
The problem? The board being inserted too far into the cartridge slot!! Pulling it out 5mm gets it working Tried everything else from different C64s, PSUs and recovery disks. But what made me think of pulling the board out I don't know, but it worked. |
