Lyra2 & whdload incompatibility problem?

I think to order lyra1200 to replace pckey1200 board

but i am reading this:

have you some similar compatibility problems between lyra2 & whdload?

I got my Lyra 2 for A1200 a few weeks ago and hadn't noticed any of the problems mentioned in that thread, but I have since tried Obsession Pinball and it does behave strangely. All keypresses on the real Amiga keyboard work (at protection screen, pressing Return, down, shift keys to flip etc) but as soon as a key is hit on the PC keyboard, then things start acting strangely - keys don't respond properly etc. It crashed for me at the end as if the game was in a loop doing a continuous move.w random,color0...

I haven't played many games since getting it so am happy to test out any you want me to try (most games are joystick only of course, even for high score tables) but I wonder if the games in question have a slightly dodgy keyboard routine in them that causes the bugs?

I'am not particular game to test ..

but if you find some games needed absolutloy keyboard and crash, it will be interting to report it of the thread to do an list... purhaps conserned games are similar codes for keyboard routine.

This might be a bit of a stretch but can you use a USB to PS/2 converter on a Lyra 2?

PS/2 keyboards are becoming a bit more sparse these days and the USB ones usually come with such an adapter.

I'm using a Minicom 0dt60002 with a lyra2.

very nice adapter and works well with wireless mouse/kb combo...

i also have a StarTech...

does not seem to work with anything wireless.

using a 2.4 GHZ mouse with the amiga without needing to load Poseidon is worth the price of the adapter
