Save Games on HD Games?

This may seem a little strange sort of topic.

However the only one I have found, up to yet, is Speedball 2.

I've tried two versions of this game JST13c version and CD32WHD1 version. When I first start a league game the option is there (but doesn't work) from there on in afterwards it isn't available (little SAV icon) I've also tried changing the path on the JST version to no avail (default is RAM: - bizarre place to put it if you ask me).

Anyone have any ideas - using WinUAE at the moment to try this - but will check it out on a proper Amiga when I get some more memory.

This belongs in the game problems area.

So why don't you you a svae state option in WinUAE? Or does the game require you to save normally to continue?

Only prob with save states is the emulated Amiga conditions need to be pretty much exact when you reload the state (Though I am sure Toni will shed better light on this!)

I could do a save state - no problem - but this is being setup to be used on a real Amiga. I'm just in the testing stage trying to get rid of (and sort out) problems.
