It was bat n ball and PD possibly
Im looking for the name of a bat n ball style game and I think it was either a PD game or free on a coverdisk. In this particular game you could bash through the blocks with the ball into other screens several times and when you missed the ball with the bat it would send you back to the previous screen (I think).
Sorry if this is a vague description. Any ideas? |

It was horizontal instead of vertical, right? I mean, you progressed to a screen to the right whenever you broke the barricade.
Arghhh I had this game and knew the name, I even downloaded it from the net, but the name has now escaped my feeble brain! I loved this game! What was the name! ARGH! |

Yeah that right Akira, it WAS horizontal rather than vertical and it WAS a brilliant game!
Someone HAS to know it now! (cant believe I forgot such an important factor of the game) :doh! Last edited by Dastardly; 17 March 2003 at 15:46. |

Ok Ive (sort of) found the game I was looking for with google. Its called Poing although the version Ive found seems to be a bit different from the version I had.
Ive put it in the zone for Akira and anyone else interested EDIT: Ive just found the exact version I was after. It was on the Amiga Power coverdisk 30. Last edited by Dastardly; 17 March 2003 at 17:18. |

for Poing's lover Poing 1,3,4,5,6 are in the Zone. As you can see Poing 2 is missing, if someone own it, it'd nice glad from him to upload it to the Zone.

Ah, I loved this game too. But like you guys, the versions I found on the net were never quite like the one I used to play. Try checking any AUI (Amiga User International) coverdisks that you might have; I know they gave this game away at least once.
