Bugger! Don't know what could be wrong there. The fix in question is available in the source release: https://github.com/koobo/HippoPlayer...uu016.s#L23037

I've put up another test binary in https://github.com/koobo/HippoPlayer. Haven't tested it on a real amiga yet.

Sorry to revive this old thread, but I'm looking for a (quiet - no output) CLI mod player too, and can't find anything. Either the tool comes up with a GUI, or there is no way to stop the music once it starts. I've tried all the small mod and protracker players but no luck. Directory Opus 4 comes with a nice mod player, which starts and stops, but it's built in to the program.

I don't want to use a full mod player like hippo, but just a small package.

Tried ptreplay66, aplay222, playerv1.1, prorun2.0, proplay2, woodstock, amodplay, clitracker, lsplayer

I use Bastyplayer as you can control everything from the command line. Only supports mod files.

I use MicroPlayer 1.0 by Pezac of LQM to play mods in command line.
