WinUAE crashes with Multiview

If I load up a readme file that has Multiview as the default tool WinUAE crashes. I can load Multiview on its own by doublec-clicking it and I can load the readme file if I change the default tool to PPmore so no great shakes but just curios to know if anyone else experienced this?

I've never had this problem, I use the latest WinUAE with ClassicWB FULL.

I've opened a hell of a lot of ReadMe files too

WinUAE crashes? Or the emulated Amiga crashes?

What version of multiview, which emulated CPU?

I can't tell waht Version of Multiview I'm using as I can't load up any files (tried various readmes) to then find an ABOUT menu option.

I'm emulating a 68020 + FPU. When it crashes the screen goes black and then chucks me bacl to XP. Sometimes I notice a Software Failure message in Workbench and managed to get a screenprint showing:
dh0
Program failed (error #80000002).
Wait for disk activity to finish.
SUSPEND REBOOT

Not the end of the world but I like to try and get things working right.

Which Workbench, 3.0 or 3.1? You tried both MultiView versions from the WB Disks?

It's WB3.1 (40.42 according to the ABOUT menu option).

Could only find one Multiview Icon on the Workbench 3.1 disk. It crashes if I run it from the disk too.

Very strange, just tried the WB 3.1 (40.42) and MultView works flawless with your CPU settings. Tried the lastest WinUAE version, with the "A1200" quickstart?

80000002 in current winuae means: program did something stupid (like jumped to non-existing memory which also usually crashes JIT)

Usual reasons: stack overflow or incompatibly with other system patches/libraries or other bug. Not a UAE bug (except JIT is very fragile with badly working programs)
