XCopy
What is the very latest version of XCopy? I thought it was kinda bizarre with all the new versions popping up all the time back in the days, so I made an "XCopy Compilation Disk" with all the versions I had found so far, I think they were about 10 different ones ranging from 2.0 to 9.0 or something (if anyone cares I can put it in the Zone later), but I'd like to know how far the versions got? And also if anyone could donate to the compilation disk by uploading newer versions (or any interesting special edition), that'd be fun.

The problem was that not all versions were made by the producer but by some lamers who hides some nice surprises in it , therefore the version numbers rised so fast.

And several of them were viruses. There's a thread about this somewhere here on EAB, unless it was purged.

I've got TNG but I actually prefer my friends version 6 point something. The interface is better. Basically the older versions are clearer. When checking disks you get clear green 1s for good parts (I think) and red 0s for bad parts. TNG uses tiny purple and greyish blobs to distinguish between good and bad. I also find it much easier to find the different options on my friends old X-Copy, on TNG and can't work out how to change between disk correcting and normal copy (DOSCopy+ and DOSCopy), or how to start a nibble copy (this might be automatic, not a good thing IMO). I only get to choose between Normal, BAM and Flash copy. Maybe BAM is the self correcting?

I found some screenshots of different X-Copy versions here. Not very clear though, theyre too small.
