Apparently I'm the only one who get slowdowns in the AGA version.
I do use a custom Kickstart 3.1 (BB2 + SCSI.device 43.45), maybe there's something the game doesn't like in there ? It's just "funny" as the game plays perfectly fluid from floppy drive on the same A1200. Oh well.. some mysteries are not meant to be solved. |

I dug out my spare A1200 and the game is fine on that.
Both Amigas use the exact same ClassicWB Full v27 setup, the only difference is this: Spare machine: Stock 680EC20 14Mhz, Kickstart 3.0, 8mb (MBX1200) Main machine: 68030 33Mhz, Kickstart 3.1 + Softkicked custom 3.1, 128mb (ACA1232) |

Just tried on my A1200+ACA 1230. It noticed heavy slowdowns/jerky scrolling too with the AGA version. Though no problems in emulation.
edit: OCS/ECS version is silky smooth. |

Aha so it's not only me after all.
It's the same thing in WinUAE with similar settings for me though (exact same config as my 1200). Retro-Nerd, I bet it runs fine if you run the floppy disk version, it did on my miggy. Quote:

Just thought I'd bump this as I also get very jerky movement playing Morton AGA on real hardware (A4000, 060.) Have tried a few tool tips but no joy. My separate install of the ECS version runs great!
