all lucasarts games are good. they are mainly ports of the games but some that have added voices and upgraded music. No big difference graphic-wise... but it's always fun to play those old graphic adventure games regardless of platform

Not strictly a remake, but TrackMania borrows a lot from Stunt Car Racer, Stunts and Racing Destruction Set. It's incredibly fun. Check http://www.trackmaniagame.com/

Edit: Didn't see the "no commersial remakes"-bit. But the demo is really huge, so...

A new Pushover remake for windows, an early version:

Quote:
15.11.2008 Version 0.0.1 of Pushover released. The first public release of the game. You can play all the original levels. Soun effects are in place. The original graphics have been converted and included. Replacement graphics for the dominos exist. There are a few small fixes when compared to the original, for example level 49 from the original offered a probably not intended solution. We've also prepared some new levels. They were designed by Volker and I have been the tester and sometimes provided an idea.
So have fun playing and remembering the old times

Future plans for the game include:
  • Internationalisation
  • Level editor
  • New puzzles
  • Replace original graphics
  • Include music

www.retrospec.com has several good remakes. Those include the aforementioned Head Over Heels, Wizball, and a Mutant Camels game.
