Keyboard connector - pull cable
To help reduce wear and tear on the keyboard ribbon cable, and to make it easy to remove, I just super-glued some fabric ribbon to the sides of the connector.
So much easier now to remove the keyboard ribbon cable! |

Nice - that is a very useful trick if you want to keep the shield in place.

It is actually very genius. Here I am still struggling with my flat-head trying to convince myself it will be the last time I remove the keyboard ribbon for a while...
