I know it's not the correct name for the game, but it's commonly referred to as 'Dracula X'. Also it's shorter

AWESOME!!

There's one thing tho, which I forgot to mention in the vote-thread...

Can we PLEASE, PLEASE use this translation??
http://home.comcast.net/~heavyweight...drac/index.htm

It will help a LOT for those of us that don't speak japanese. Seriously. It's only 30%, but most of the menus and such are translated ( I think) which will just help tremendously.

PLEASE Druid... at least consider it.

There's no need for this 30% translation, gameplay/menu options-wise. I can't speak/read any Japanese word and never had problems to handle this game.

Yup and second point is that it won't work with the provided version anyway

I wouldn't say "yup" so easily. I mean, this IS a wholly different language from our anglo-saxon ones, and not all of us are as clever as Retro, so we can figure out what's what.

And are you sure the patch wouldn't work? It does have both an ISO and a Bin/cue version.

CloneCD isn't BIN/CUE. Push the run button (several times), choose the first option, enter garbage, choose the first option again and play.
Now okay?

But there's an ISO-patch as well, on that page. And CloneCD is ISO, right? That's what I meant.

Nope. CloneCD is IMG/CCD/SUB/CUE. Somehow I think you haven't tried it yet...

I have actually. But only about 3 times, to read like ONE single obscure disc-format. Can't recall what it was. But I've still got it installed just for reading that one format. Everything else Daemon can ussually handle, no prob'.

EDIT: Ooops! I was wrong. PowerISO is the program I'm using, outside of Daemon tools. I can swear I've tried CloneCD once or twice tho...

Are you sure this perticular cd-image is in IMG-format btw? It's not completed at my end yet, so I can't tell for sure, but in the descriptions it calls it ISO instead of BIN.

Man really, download it and try it before you complain Since I uploaded the version to the file server and tested it, I'm pretty sure IT'S NOT ISO OR BIN/CUE.

I was trying to post a Japanese translation of "Go on, give it a try!", but I couldn't get it to display properly without a plugin. So, not wanting to give up, I posted this as a temporary placeholder instead.

However, it is proving to be impossible to do what I wanted without installing the plugin (I really don't want it on this machine), so it'll have to stay there for the time being.

When I have succeeded (on another machine), I will edit the post to include it.

I suggest only Richter Belmont should be allowed to play as because Maria Renard is kinda cheat-mode and sucks anyway (throwing birds as attack?).

Of course. But writing "Play as Richter Belmont!" maybe makes it even more obvious.
