Hi,
Does anyone know if the Amiga and ST versions of this program share the same music file format? I have a number of Music Studio tunes on disk from when I used to be an ST user (it was only for a year, before I saw sense and got an A500!) and I was wondering if I could load these up in the Amiga version. Cheers, - Ali |

Hi,
I guess not many people are interested in this! Well, in case anyone needs to, I can confirm that the Amiga version of The Music Studio will load in songs saved by its Atari ST counterpart (as long as the file extension is changed from ".SNG" to ".song" as the non-standard file selector doesn't allow the "#?.song" mask to be altered). Given that there's an ST program to convert Music Studio files to general MIDI files, at least there's some sort of path to convert these old tunes into something standard... - Ali |

Good day to you,
Any chance of that deluxe music construction set reappearing in the zone? The version I remember has a monochrome orange graphical interface, but if this one is a figment of some parareality it's time to dream program it onto the hard drive. Thanks. |

Any chance on someone upping this to the Zone again, please? I used to play around with this back in the early '90s, and I fancy some nostalgia! :-)
Many thanks This is the song I remember most about this software! Last edited by TCD; 07 February 2011 at 21:39. Reason: Back to back posts merged. Use the edit function. |

Have a look on the EAB file server in the folder 'TOSEC/Applications/[ADF]/M' for 'Music Studio, The (1986)(Activision).7z'

Is that ADF actually listed in the TOSEC DATs?
I have original 1986 Atari (P/N SD-113-04) and Amiga Version 1.2 (P/N WD-113-04B) disks, the manual and screen symbols card, plus the (Amiga) box. Would it be worthwhile to image these and upload them? |

Sure, I bet Josh would be interested in getting the manual and it would be nice to have a look if there are any differences to the TOSEC version Last edited by TCD; 08 February 2011 at 15:05. |
