If Elbox wrote an Voodoo1 driver?

Just a though..but if Elbox wrote a driver for the Voodoo1 series of cards for their mediators.....theoreticaly you could pass the native display through it via rgb vga adapter and it would be flickerfixed/scandoubled?

Any thoughts?

@philophus

As far as I know the Voodoo 1 chipset is only a 3D acceleration chip set, not video display.

I have read reports of people using the TV composite IN feature of their Voodoo 4 and 5 cards to display Native Amiga games on a window in workbench (thats RTG'd to the screen)

When I set my A1260+ZIV-PCI up with the Voodoo 5 it will be the first thing I try LOL!!!

Voodoo 1 & 2 VGA pass through was just relay switches it wasn't a digitising interface.

Some PCI VGA cards did have 15KHz RGB digitising interfaces on them for use with hardware MPEG video decoders. Circa 1995-ish. Very unlikely you'd be able to buy any in volume.
