Amiga 3.9 on WinVista Virtual PC

Is it possible?

I want to see if I can have the amiga running on its own on a virtual disk - trying installs but the main problem i have is creating an emergency disk. I cant get WinUAE to work on vista to inittally emulate and create the files.

That make sense??

If someone could tell me if a virtual pc will run the amiga os or not that would save me a lot of time. lol

No, you can't use Virtual PC to run an Amiga operating system. You still need emulation.

I'm running WinUAE on Vista. Which problems are you having?

Just the standard app crash eroor message

Seems to really hammer the mem usage too.

I'll give it another go - whats the lastest version of UAE?

Actually, I do not think it would be difficult to get Amithlon running in VirtualPC, but thats like running Emulation, inside Emulation and would thus be *S L O W*.

I do this with QEMU. =-) Never thought of the new VirtualPC. How 'bout VMware Player or the other freebies? Of course the version of Amithlon would depend on your Host CPU.
