Anyway.. drifting back on topic...

I'd definitely recommend an A1200 with an HDD and an 030 and 16/32MB of RAM. I've got that setup and it's perfect for everything I want to do! (Mostly games, the odd bit of dpaint and maybe playing some mods).

I'd also recommend grabbing a couple of zipsticks/comp pro sticks and pummelling the crap out of them playing some of the classics

Oh and if you can't be bothered setting workbench up properly or what a good custom setup then take a look at ClassicWB from Bloodwych (http://classicwb.abime.net)
