Goal.com's Top 10 Football Computer Games of All Time!
Yes you heard me, this is Goal.com's Top 10 Football Computer Games of All Time!
SPOILER: SWOS isn't No. 1 http://www.goal.com/en-india/news/22...es-of-all-time I've not played half of the games on the list, but I personally consider Pro Evolution Soccer the best footie games. |

Kyon will not be amused...
Actually I played the #1 with a friend for some time 'back in the days'. Even if I don't like the genre, I have to agree that it's a quite nice game. Phew, nothing spoiled |

Yeah, I've played a little bit of Championship Manager 97/98 but as my interest in football isn't THAT great, I never really invested the time to play it.
I have mates who swear by it though. |

Well, at least Sensible Soccer is #2. A bit strange to mix both action and sim football games in that list.

One of my favorite football game is Adidas Power Soccer. Fun to play with super scissor kicks and spectator moaning at half time about the performance on the pitch.

Well, they are clearly inferior to everything on that list.
It's a Top 10. THE TOP 10. Ignore it at your peril. |

I just laugh about it, can't be serious anyway, I mean, Striker #8, WTF? Now I wait for the next list, with Lothar Matthäus Soccer on #1.

Another big CM 97/98 fan here also. That and the 93/94 Amiga versions are the best I think.
Also isn't Pro Evolution Soccer basically the same series as ISS Pro just with a different name? |

Yeah essentially it is.
Things have changed a lot since the days of ISS64 though |

Championship Manager got a 28% score here, so i guess it isn't THAT great. Anyway, i prefer to play either a plain football OR football simulation game. SWOS and Bundesliga Manager Professional aka "The Manager" for me, if we are talk about Amiga games.

Really? The 97/98 version? Which magazine gave that rating Retro? Would like to have a look at that review.

I've played Anstoss 2 at that time. Best football manager, before the PC games needed to be patched a hundred times.

EA have kick Pro Evo's arse for the last 3 years. While Pro Evo hasn't got any worse, it hasn't got any better either.
It's unfashionable to like EA as they suck, but FIFA 09 was the best football game I have ever played and the only one that has kept my interest for longer than a seasons worth of games. |

The next step is clear: We must help Kyon collect every edition of each of the games on the top 10 list!!!
