Was the CU Amiga coverdisc release the FULL package? I've got all those CDs packed away somewhere, and I wouldn't mind this program either, and I'm on dialup so it'll take ages to download, so is it worth starting the download or just finding the disc?

Yup. The final issue included the full version of Cinema4D... Talk about going out with a bang: covermounting the full version of a $1000+ program...

It's 21.1MB - Certainly quicker on broadband I'd start looking if I was you

Any help appreciated.

That's funny... It worked for me (and presumably the other people who have DLed this)

The number is copied directly from the IRC chat where I got the stuff from in the first place (The wiki/FAQ is right, you CAN find everything on IRC)

Here it is again, just in case something got garbled...

The registration code is: 16110502929-3973A7

Thanks again Madcrow All sorted! When registering your copy of C4D you must complete ALL fields appropriately, otherwise the program does not accept the serial number and register the program successfully.

Glad to be a help...

Now that we've got Cinema 4D out in the open, maybe we should hold a 3D art competition...

Here are a couple of links some might find handy:

- Fixed Cinema 4D installer with serial number for anyone trying to install directly from CUCD27
http://www.intuitionbase.com/waveguide/c4dinstall.html

- CU Amiga (last issue) short docs/tutorial for Cinema 4D

Thanks for the updates... Now lets just hope that this stuff is all still here the next time someone asks about C4D

Does anyone know where I can obtain an iso image of CU Amiga magazine Super CD-ROM 27 (Oct 1998)? I have tried googling for it but all I can find is dodgy torrents. I would prefer a direct download from any popular file download site. Thanks.

The person who game me C4D copied it directly off his copy of CD 27, but I can't reeber who gave it to me... Still, you've got the "big feature" from the CD already? What else do you want? The game demos?

Try assigning the CINEMA4D_CD-EDITION to your CD drive.

Open a shell and type,

Assign CINEMA4D_CD-EDITION: CD0:

There was a fix for this included on an Amiga Format CD. I've uploaded it to The Zone for you.
