"Another World", fixed version for KS3.1

Hi there

I've been trying to run this classic with a KS3.1 machine, my stock Amiga 1200.
It works, but it has some sound problems in the intro whereas the same disks work perfectly well on the A500.
I've been experimenting in the Minimig, too, taking advantage of it's ability to mutate from a KS1.x machine to a 2.x or 3.x one, and the same thing happens.

So, is there an ADF version of Another World fixed for KS3.x machines? (no Whdload, please: it requires more memory than I have in my classic amigas right now.)

regards

Thanks, Retroplay, but this version is the same I had.
It works fine, yes, but it exhibits corrupt audio in the intro sequence if used in a KS3.X machine.

I've found a video of CD32 running this game with no problems... I'll investigate that.

CD32 was proberly using the CD32 version of WHDLoad to run it.

No, the CD_888 , wich is the CD shown in the video, has a whdload-less AW version. I extracted it and it's the version cracked by The Company, but it has the same problem on KS 3.x systems.

Have you tried a degrader like ReloKick?

No, but.. Is there a degrader that would allow me to launch the game automatically after rebooting in KS1.3 mode if the game is copied to the HD? Another World is HD-installable and in fact I'm using the disks but only for copyin the game to HD before running it.
(Yes, I know this is more or less what WHDLOAD does, but WHDLOAD's Another World won't run with 1.5MB on my Minimig, for example).

Write ReloKick 1.4a back to a real disk (it allows you to disable the caches too). It's worth a try, check all Another World disk versions then.
