Some of the best conversations i've ever had have been with myself. I got in an argument one day and knocked myself spark out for being sarcastic. Serves me right.

All of them I think now. God bless rom sites and warez-bb Although, I will be replacing all of my favourites with genuine ones as they become available on Ebay.

So, take your CF out of the Amiga, hook it up to your via card reader PC. (don't whatever you do let Windows format that card!) Now run WinUAE and load the standard A1200 settings in quickstart. Go to the Rom tab, browse and select the 3.1 Rom Image. Go to the hard drive tabs, choose 'Add Hard Drive' Add you CF Card as a Hard Drive (it should show up a RDB USB Storage or something like that.) Hit 'Start' on the WinUAE Gui. The CF HDD should boot and you should see the Amigakit installer screen (assuming this is how they set up the CF) Follow the onscreen instructions, to insert your Workbench ADF hit F12 and go to the Quickstart Tab, then under DF0 'insert Disk' and browse for the ADF that the installer is asking for, then hit 'Resume' on the Gui. Continue activation as per the onscreen. Once done, pop the CF HDD back in your Amiga and you should be good to go! Good Luck! |

Just a thought, are you saying your Amiga does not have a Floppy Drive right?
EasyADF is meant to be used with the Amiga, not your PC. You boot your Amiga with the EasyADF disk and use the Amiga to create the workbench disks from the ADFs, of course you need some spare blank floppy's for that. Steve. |

Ok, got as far as the hard drive bit and nothing is showing in there and the add hard drive is greyed out. Sorry to take so much of your time my friend.

I'm stumped. And you can't use the EasyADF boot disk as you still need a Workbench disk to use that, looks like you're going to need to get a legit set of Workbench disks now mate. Steve. Last edited by fitzsteve; 11 September 2010 at 18:02. |
