does anyone know this landscape generator and where i can get the software? thanks in advance!

If you are not looking for the exact program there are few options. I have two: Scene Generator and Scenery 1.0. There is also this one and this and this.

thx, amountains looks nice! and scenery runs on amiga 500 plus with aca500plus config.

It's AmigaBASIC by the looks of things. Should be pretty easy to enter it, but bear in mind that the magazine transcription contains errors - the mag originally had a small left-arrow symbol to signify the end of the line, and that gets translated as a "4" in the transcription.

I converted it to SpecBAS and then got busy upgrading it - this uses the original engine, but with a better implementation of Diamond-square, a bigger landscape and a better palette:



Now, if anyone can provide the source code to the program "Scenery":
