Yeap, no problem - I will do it later. IMHO the V1.4 is the best (fastest) SCUMMVM Version but sadly without MT32Support - therefore the V1.5 is needed.

Nice, will test this now with Lands of Lore

You don't happen to have the 1.4.1 "030" version also do you?

That's cool, cheers for looking anyway

This game works perfectly with 1.4.1 so will now keep this version of ScummVM / .HDF

Yep, I made sure I saw to that before I upped it to the FTP server.

Thanks very much AMike! ScummVM V1.4.1 AGA is now in my personal folder on the FTP server.

Do you still have the RTG version, though? I didn't find that release in the Zone.....

I was playing it last month, on dosbox; I used that Scotia savegame editor, on account of the game being owerpowering right there at Draracle caverns(imho).

I was also frustrated by the enemy targeting difficulty (enemies walking from tile to tile are always out of range), input lag and general sluggishness (on Dosbox only, not on ScummVM, wonder why), and then dropped it.

I still don't get the game appeal, except the nice graphics; but I don't feel for them as I do for Eye of the Beholder's ones anyway, nor for the game: in fact I dropped it soon after that.

I am at Urbish mines lvl.2, no cheating or editing characters. It is really hard there and needs some tactics/hit and run. These guys can kill you in 5 seconds if you stay in front of them. I think i am in the middle of the gameplay, around 6-7 hours gameplay so far. The game really is superb, better than Eye of the beholder but the latter is great too.

There are tons of them attacking you in a certain point that i didn't thought out how to avoid them, i just followed some tactics, hit and run, hide, rest, save and do it again.

Hard to say without more details...

Have you installed AHI 4.18 (or CAMD or anything else that you may have set for use with ScummVM)?

Also check the icon's information; I had a similar issue where "NTSC" was set but I don't have that monitor file on my .HDF so ScummVM crashed... Changed the tooltype to "PAL" and then all good.

Finally, have you tried using SnoopDOS to see what's occurring?

Surely NovaCoder must have all versions of his own releases

I'm going to send him a PM asking if he could kindly upload for us

Ok, PM sent

It's my personal standard WB 3.1 .HDF with ScummVM v1.4.1_040 plus Lands of Lore installed and obviously working; nothing special though.

You can use the config file included but you may need to change stuff to suit your own setup like:

... WinUAE directory.
... Path to ROMs.
... Where you extract the .HDF to.

Let me know if you have any issues.

Where can I get the Amiga ScummVM v1.3.1 from to test / try out with "Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos"?

It's not on Aminet
Hi Damien,

I think all my scummvm ports are on AmiNet,
well the latest versions anyway. I don't normally keep copies of my old ports so can't really help with those sorry.

I was planning to do that after I'd finished digging up as many versions as I could. FWIW, I've just upped another 4 versions of ScummVM by NovaCoder to my personal folder on the FTP server......which so far brings the grand total to 20.

The thing is, NovaCoder upped a huge number of public versions across AGA, ECS and RTG (for different CPUs) to Aminet during development between 2010 and 2015. Some only lasted a few days on Aminet before they were replaced by the next update, so it would be surprisingly awesome if he kept every single one of them.

I'd guessed as much, but bugger all the same!

OK people of EAB, check your hard drives please for any versions of ScummVM by NovaCoder from V1.0 upwards. If you have any that aren't in my personal folder, then please upload to the Zone. Thank you.....that is all!

i resolved.
ScummVM AGA works only with Lands of Lore CD-Rom edition.
It fails with floppy version or my floppy version.
