Thanks for the manuals!, It will be very useful for me, I try to get all the manuals for my games; I use mostly Hall Of Fame and Game Database for it, but some of the manuals aren´t there, so I need more places to look for, and I like it´s only for Amiga games, no need to worry for other platforms.

It´s since 2008 my last post here, quite a time

I love the website. It has moved though from the original link. But nice of you to provide this. I have all my manuals in storage. The originals that is.

Bad news indeed.
Maybe there is a possibility to contact the admin to archive the files in "archive.org" ?

most or some of the stuff Josh got from other sources, i.e. hol. as far as I can see.

I have all of the manuals from the site and will make them available on torrent later today
the filename of the torrent file will something like RCEU-Amiga-Manuals-xiik.net.torrent and will be available here.

http://retro-commodore.eu/files/downloads/Torrents/

Individually the files are being uploaded in this writing hour to here
http://retro-commodore.eu/files/down...uals-xiik.net/

there are some 40 gigs (including a backup dir which needs sorting out),
files that needs checking etc so if you want everything, please wait for the torrent

Nice one tomse; thanks for your efforts

...but can I ask where these manuals came from and are they only Amiga based?

Reason for the question is that I downloaded the Flashback manual from your site (seems to be the IBM version), and it's totally different to the ones on HOL.

Guess you should ask the guy behind the original http://amiga-manuals.xiik.net/ site? :-)
They probably came from a variety of different places.

Scroll up and find Josh, afair it is/was his site.

but yeah, the manuals came from several different places..
I even found quite a few of my own productions there...
some, but not all, of mine are removed as they are already downloadable

in my other torrents.

Perhaps he tapped out from all Amiga related stuff, including this site?:

A bit late to the party on this, but never too late to send a huge THANK YOU!! Tomse you're a real life-saver my friend!
Incidentally, your website is bookmarked and a new reference in my list (I crave for retro-computing/gaming PDF docs like they were twinkies...).

Great work and awesome share man, keep it up! (Pun intended)

Did anyone preserve the HTML related files of this beautifully designed site?

I seem to remember when you clicked a drawer a window that looked just like in Workbench 3.1 would popup listing the contents.

They don't make them like that anymore. The design of the website itself is just as worth preserving as the manuals it hosted.
