PP Hammer - good suggestion. Haven't played that for years but always enjoyed it.

Yo! Joe. But although the boss is talking about his castle, it looks more like a mansion.

and my favourite one is Superfrog which I have just started to play again after making a 23pin to scart lead for my 1200 (tv output was dodgy).

Knightmare, I think has a castle. It may just be a dungeon.

Where do you get 23-pin connectors?

How about Trapped and Trapped 2? They had some castle content I think.

Also, there was a very atmospheric playable demo from around the time when people were arguing if Doom was possible on an Amiga, around '94/'95? I think it was called Poom, ought to be on Aminet. I remember some tasty castle walls, with lots of atmosphere and darkness. Very cool, certainly at the time.

Myth. There's a castle in the Viking level.

In modern games, Mount & Blade lets you storm castles, capture castles, run around in castles with troops, and defend your castle against sieges.

When it comes to castles, you can't miss out on the title Dark Castle for the miggy (though the Mac version was better):

Too many words in that Mount & Blade review - over 15,000! I bought on the back of this Bucket Bros review.

The mistery of aarendarvon castle
Is a text based castle adventure for the ZX Spectrum. It came complete with a book containing the games source code for the Aladin interpreter. And has the unique ability that you can map out the diffrent rooms with which you can eventually manually draw a map of the entire castle
