Question Good MOD player???

Are there any other dedicated MOD players other than Winamp?

I dont like winamp and I'm looking for a simple player like the plug-in for browsers, with the ability to alter settings such as frequency, quality etc...

Yup, modplug is available as plugin/tracker/player. Deliplayer is another quite compatible mod player.

Better get Deliplayer for those exotic mod formats, and for a better, more accurate MOD replayer

I like using XMPlay 2.8 myself, as it has good sound at a small file size, but as Akira said Deliplayer is better for those exotic mod formats.

Ehh? Did I misunderstand you again Djay?? Modplug surely isn't just a track editor... As I've already said it's available as 1)Plugin 2)Player 3)Tracker. I think it's a damn good tracker too...

The reason DeliPlayer is much better than ModPlayer is simply because of the alot wider supported range of formats, though ModPlayer can play umx files (Unreal Tournament Engine MOD style music).

Dunno. I installed it twice. The first time I installed it I couldn't find out where the options are due to the ugly skin, so I deinstalled it. I then gave it a second try some month later and there changing the skin didn't work. No clue if it was due to an old version.

Anyone know a working MOD extension for the Internet Explorer browser? MODPlug used to work, if you applied the registry patch, but no longer it seems...

Why not use MozillaFirebird or Opera?

This was another reason why I don't use IE anymore, and also after seeing this I definitely not using IE again.:eek

So i'm not the only one that uses this one ( i have seen also there is a way to run it on mac os x ) !

It supports a lot of formats, but there is also a version of modplug ( better quality for the few format it supports ).

I need the higher supported amount to be honest as I just throw the files at it for AmigaFM.

hehe...
I've never used the Plugin or the Editor, just use it for playing, back in the day i used Protracker on the Amiga to just play music, must of been something about watch the notes fly by

so Deli is just a player and nothing more, but is compatiable with more music formats, then... cool
