I am done with Witcher, and ending was not bad, but still somewhat annoying as it was predictable what will happen. Now a bit longer wait than what we are used with other series... (next season in 2021, new Mandalorian will be released in fall this year)

I find it funny how much stuff is really from game in series, including princess that is striga from first game intro.

Watching 4th season of Expanse, and it just continued as expected, well made science fiction show where earth and moon president did not show up yet in this season without saying 'fck' at least once.

Series going from one mystery to unlimited number of mysteries.

I love dialect and slang used by belters... so far this is by far best show in past 12 months.

From previous episode, listen to Drummer speech...

Still by far best scene of death in space...

Isn't it obvious enough already that the whole series are based on the games?

Now we need TV series based on Mass Effect and Horizon Zero Dawn.

Not just in space, it's probably the best death scene I've seen in anything for a long time!

Done with The Expanse's 4th season, still processing all that happens and trying to predict what is to follow.

Sadly, they killed one of my favorite characters, while introducing new character that probably will be main theme of next season.

You can't be Science Fiction fan and not see this show, just impossible. Good physics, visuals, very real in many ways, yet it has more 'para-normal' BS than Stargate SG-1.

I watched one Korean show (Strong Girl Bong-Soon, funny but with many cringy scenes) and now of course Netflix thinks I want to watch nothing else. Among the surprisingly many interesting offers there was the Korean version of Suits which looks to be a really close translation... but also the hilarious Bring it On, Ghost.

Imagine a world where ghosts exist and can interact with the world and people around them, but the living can't see them nor touch them back.

However, there are some people who can see and touch ghosts. And then there is one guy who makes a living out of being a ghostbuster... with his fists. Yes it is as ridiculous as it sounds.

anyone been watching Doctor Who series 12? S11 was bland and almost un-watchable for me but at least S12 looks to be going places! - especially with that last episode (the Judoon one)

<spoilers>
not sure how I feel about the retconing of DW canon though with the doctors BEFORE W Hartnell. unless of course it's a red herring.

I don't think it is a retcon, especially as neither Doctor recognise the other, I am thinking some form of alternate timeline or alternate universe type affair.

Finished second season of Altered Carbon on Netflix.

Surprisingly good ending that concludes story from first season.

Anthony Mackie (Falcon in Marvel Universe) lead this season of this great punk dystopian future.

Here are teasers for 1st and 2nd season.

A few months ago, I thought it would be a good idea to watch nearly every episode of classic series Get Smart (1965-1970) from a fresh dvd rip. Series features Don Adams & Barbara Feldon in top form, is sadly overlooked these days and has my utmost recommendation. It was rebooted, and a few Get Smart films were produced during the 90s, but classic series in itself will keep you entertained for quite a while if you happen to enjoy it.
Personally, favorite silly gadget featured in the series was Cone of Silence. Just plain hilarious to witness Max demanding said device to be activated each time he and Chief (RIP Edward Platt) have a meeting at CONTROL headquarters to prevent eavesdropping , though most people ought to remember fondly the shoe phone ubiquitous usage. Oh, and don't watch it dubbed in your native language or you shall miss the numerous puns and jokes among cheeky dialogues, subtitled original version is the way to go.

More Korean stuff, recently I've been hooked on a series called Let's Eat which currently sports three seasons although they treat each season as an individual show. it has the usual slice of life storyline that follows typical Korean TV making rules: make unusual people hate each other, let them build a friendship against all odds, make them fall in love in really unorthodox ways. Relationships (friendly, rivalry or romantically) in Korean shows are just so otherworldly to my western brain, I love it.

But the main attraction of the show is: the mukbang. Glorious food. Cooking. Eating. People shoving food into their faces, commenting/discussing/bickering about it, having foodgasms because of what they are eating. And since it's mostly Korean cuisine (each episode tends to have a theme and sometimes they explore cuisines of other nations), everything looks bloody amazing. My bucket list has more than doubled because of this show.

If you're a foodie, this is must-see-TV.

Also, this Thursday Hi-score Girl season 2 lands on Netflix outside of Japan so if you haven't seen the first season yet... now would be the time. I've watched the first season like a dozen times now, my retro gamer brain can't get enough of it.
