Amiga 2000 resurrection progress

Hey folks,

I have an A2000 (was a UK A1500), replaced the power supply for 60Hz, bought an A2091 card, a 2GB SCSI harddrive. The keyboard has some messed up lines (some keys arent working), but will focus on that next. And the 2091 was bare - no RAM (we cant have that - must find some RAM chips). A nice accelerator maybe in the future. And right now, just composite B/W - I dont have the cable for my 1084. This could get expensive

Ok, but now that Im somewhat functional, whats the best way to get online and transfer some software? Right now the HD is basic Workbench - no frills at all. I can hook up to my PC via null modem cable, but I dont see any kind of terminal program that comes with Amiga OS.

Thing is, I have no way (that I know of), to get these files onto the Amiga. My PC can not write ADF disks. Is there any kind of magic out there that I dont know about to get these onto the harddrive via null modem without having a term already on the Amiga?

The only thing that comes to my mind that can do what you request is Amiga Explorer (http://www.amigaforever.com/ae/) which can send via null modem the Amiga Explorer amiga-side app (you need WB on the Amiga to receive it).

Another way to transfer files to your miggy would be by using CrossDOS, but I doubt you have WB 2.1 or newer on it
