Installing WB from scratch would be a far more beneficial experience for someone new to the Amiga.

as sad as it sounds i don't even know how to launch a game from workbench. i booted a workbench disk from floppy and it triggered some memories of when i had an amiga 500 but back in those days all i used to do was insert a floppy disk game turn on the amiga and play.
i also had a limited collection and the games i had all seemed to work this way and i used workbench for nothing. i only got into windows pc's later and workbench seems a little alien to me in comparison. guess i spent too much time mindless gaming and not learning anything useful in the old days. @ Hewitson - are there any simple tutorials of how to install workbench from scratch available? i'm really enjoying fiddling with this amiga stuff at the moment |
