Man, for years trying to find this bugger has been busting my nut. Only the Oracle crack is in the TOSEC (and with a conspicuous [b] flag to go with it). Tried searching in the BBS archive stuff on the EAB FTP but that left me empty-handed. Not too sure if Fairlight have it on their "10 Years" CD or not, but I'm not holding my breath anyhow.
For those not in the know, this archived version of Golden Oldies should explain things (and show other games which got similar treatment). It was also acknowledged on GAGE and an JST/WHD loader was made for it too. I wonder if Galahad himself knows anything? If you're reading this, man.... |

Now I've heard of these Beavis CDs many times before but have no clue as to where/how you're supposed to obtain them. Google doesn't even seem to have anything on them apart from the odd mentions in this very board.
Anyone willing to give me some directions to this collection?  @s2325: That disk has the Oracle version, so not what I'm looking for. |

I don't think you quite understand - I'm after a specific crack of the game. Read the thread title again. It's not just a case of grabbing any version and hope for the best.

You're right in that I worded myself incorrectly the first time - forget to recheck if there were other cracks in TOSEC before spluttering what I just spluttered out.

 Glad to know you could come up with the goods in the end.Say, from reading previous posts I'm aware you have some Beavis CDs yourself. Are they easy to obtain or not? Having delved through the BBS stuff from the EAB file server I'm keen on finding any more similar archives and seeing if they have any additional cracks I fondly recall from my childhood and which aren't in TOSEC.... |
