Noob to Gamebase 1.4

Not new to winuae - been using it for years, but just installed gamebase 1.4. I've set the game path, and chosen "verify available files" and it finds nothing! All my games are either adf files or zip files with adf content so not sure what the problem is ?

OK, tried that - rebuilt my rom sets with clrmame but gamebase amiga still not finding them! hek, looks like I'll just stick to naked winuae afterall - spent all day trying to get gamebase amiga to work with not much joy !

Thanks

Please refer to this page for the correct directory structure: http://gbamiga.elowar.com/wiki/installing:directories

The archives containing the .dat files include .bat files (batch scripts, you can run them like programs) to sort the files into and out of lettered subdirectories. There should be ReadMe files inside the archives explaining what to do.
