Cannon Fodder Dies after mission 21

My version of cannon fodder alwys dies after mission 21, I have tried to do the mission several times, in case it was just some odd coninsidence. I have used the Fairlight Crack,, vut i also tried having the crystal-crack in the drive when i loaded the save-state. It's very annoying as it is pretty close to the ende. I have made a save-state, så if someone could try and see if they get the same problems, or have som tips, that would be appriciated. (to finish the mission you just have to kill the two guys in the water)

Turns out its after mission 20 actually. But as it seems noone has any input on the problem, is there anyone who has a save at the start of mission 21? Sucks to have to load from another persons game, but it's better than nothing, at makes me able to play the last 5 missions.

'Well the problem isn't that I can't do the mission (mission 20 phase 4) its that after finishing the mission, and seeing the "heros in victory"-scenn, the gmes just makes some odd sounds, and the screen turns yellow, so i cannot proceed. A savestate just nefore the ende of the mission is linked to in my first post.

i think that i had the same problem some years ago... i tried also different version. always the same prob. i tried the original and the whd-version.
... and so i stopped playing this great game. :/

Your disks are fucked, the datas are errored, that's what happens.

I had back in the day Cannon fodder crk by fairlight, and it works right to the end !
So go to planetemu, and pick the 3 adfs disks, or i will dump my 13 years old CF disks

i allready downloaded them, but i was too lazy to play it again as i thougt that it will crash at the same mission. :> that means that my disks had errors right after i bought them. :/
maybe i should give CF a new try.

just load the savestate, and replace the disks and play.

Hmm, i have used the FLT-crack all the time, i downloaded them from planetEMU also, and tried it, but same problem. Did anyone get the savestate to work? (after just finishing the mission). I also tried the crystal crack, but then it wasn't able to read the disc properly.

Thanks for the tips about changing the disc AFTER loading the state btw, I didn't now i had to do that.

A version of agony crashed once... on stage 4 I think.. but I had a savestate from the stage before that so I just loaded it, and replaced the disks.

Hmm, yeah, but the problem is that I can't get it to work if i use another version than I "started" with, the disk just makes "loading sounds" without any progress (if i turn on the disc-sounds in the emulator).

Then it maybe means that you have to swap to disk 2 !

the cannon fodder crack by fairlight has a black screen with the drive searching.
It happens at mission 13 when you have completed mission 12.

I play right away with your save state, to check what happens.

edit : Yes, the game is crashing, i have to upload the adfs from my disks + my save disk.

Thanks a lot for that, i tried loading before mission 21 and finsihing that, but then the disk just loaded and loaded afterwards, and never reached the menu, so i loaded vefore mission 22 and finished that, then it loaded fine into the menu, so i guss it works.

I wonder what happend with my own save though, maybe it just didn't handle tha fact that no troopers where lost so late in the game

Well, it worked to the end, so i finished it now, time for CF2, lets not hope the same happens there

On the fairlight crack, you MUST use 2 drives !!!

the requester doesn't appear on the crack. try on winuae with 2 drive and insert both
disks 2 and 3. You'll see the game loading from one to another.

Cannon Fodder 2 is worse, the cracked version makes horrible swapping between the files, and here again use 3 drives, 1 for save disk, 2 other for disk 2 and 3.

And BTW CF2 is way way harder than CF1. I have done a full tutorial on how to kill it,
do you want me to upload it ? even with it, you will have really hard ours, believe me ^^
