Psytronik site is blocked in Brazil?
I've been trying to access this page
http://www.psytronik.net/ but I always get this message: " www.psytronik.net - Access Denied Error code 16 This request was blocked by the security rules " Asked a few local friends to try it out, same message. Is it blocked for Brazil, or is it like this everywhere? |

It could also be your ISP which blocks it for some odd reason. Perhaps the same server (i.e. same IP) is hosting another site that they don't want you to access?
A bit of a work-around, but using some proxy like google translate could at least help you see the site: https://translate.google.com/transla...site%2F&anno=2 |

It's not my ISP blocking it, it's their server. I asked a few friends here to try to access the site, people from other cities with other ISPs and the same thing happened.
And yeah, using demolition's link from google translator, I can see the site. |

Perhaps they have had trouble with spammers from your area so they decided to block a large IP segment, perhaps even all of Brazil? Amibay also recently blocked access from Chinese IPs due to multiple attacks from chinese IPs. While it is my impression that not many Chinese care about Commodore stuff (I don't think it was ever officially sold there?), it doesn't appear to be that foreign in South American countries, so a more elegant solution would be preferable over cutting off an entire country. It could also just be an honest network-misconfiguration. Is this a recent development?

I am not sure, I had never seen their site before, it's the first time I try to access it.
Brazil is known for their internet trolls, sites have been banned here before, so it wouldn't surprise me. Except the kind of work Psytronik do wouldn't raise much attention around here, I'd guess. |

Have you tried it via a free proxy server?

LOL
I've managed to access the site through a proxy. Someone (probably me, heh) should contact the owner of the site to alert them about this. |

Ended up meeting Kenz in a random thread about a Psytronik game in a facebook group. Now is sorted, it's working here It was a problem with their ISP indeed.
