AmiBay down for a software upgrade on 9/10th April
I just wanted to make you all aware that the AmiBay site will be down for maintenance and an upgrade to VBulletin 4 on 9th and 10th April.
Don't worry or panic, we'll be back as soon as possible! Last edited by Merlin; 08 April 2014 at 22:24. |

Hey, why is this site not updating? Still stuck on clunky VB 3.8.8 and a BETA at that

Good luck Merlin and the rest of the guys, you're going to have plenty to do after the upgrade from 3.x I know, I've been there and done it
Looking forward to seeing what awesome changes you'll make with the new software |

The site is back up, although Harrison is still finishing some tasks off and the forums have not been switched back on yet. This should happen later today.
@ DH There will probably be a lot more tinkering required before we're happy with it. Last edited by Merlin; 11 April 2014 at 10:43. |

Woohoo! I can pay from some stuff I've ordered now, hope the PM's are still there.
Did you retain all the usernames/passwords? Itching to have a gander now, great work and glad nothing serious went wrong with the upgrade, +1 |

All previous user settings should have been retained, so no new passwords are needed. PMs are still there and the database is intact; it's also backed up, just in case.
Anyone wanting to pay for stuff should be able to do so later today. |

Anyway, be great to see it back up, and to see what you have implemented too, maybe pop over to our forums here http://awesome.commodore.me/forum/ and have a look there, maybe something of interest I/we could help you with, although I would imagine you'll not have the need. EDIT: Obviously from an Admins point of view, there's a hell of a lot more to see than just a regular user, or unregistered user, can see. |

I just logged in and that function is working now. (Yes, my old password still works!)
So, in a few more hours more functions should be working! |
