Not bad, maybe you can use some graphics from Urban Massacre. Please keep Amiga feel (pixel art instead of scanned photos, no sprite ripping from commercial games).

I really enjoy looking at the stuff you have in development, but I really wish you'd get one project finished before starting another as you have some really interesting stuff underway.
I agree with S2325, the game would look better with pixel art as opposed to scans. Keep up the great work. Your projects are always fascinating to look at. |

Hi Amiten.
You are clearly able to get projects up and running quickly and each one shows a progression of ideas. However, I wonder if it would benefit you to take a more technical look at your existing projects and look to make improvements there. For example: Hotspots. These are not best aligned (e.g. the extended whip in Amivania). When an animation frame is larger than others in the sequence you need to compensate for it. A simple improvement which can be made in the sprite editor! This would improve the accuracy of collision detection and overall professional feel of the game. I would think that hotspots between the feet would work Scrolling: Is it possible to remove the leftmost flicker when the screen updates? Seems you are using 'screen offset' so I'm not sure why the flicker is even there. EDIT: Not the place for this but have you a screen display line in your code? AMOS can do weird things without it - maybe try "screen display (screen number),128,150,320,256" - where 128*150 are hardware co-ordinates for the screen and 320*256 are the dimensions you actually want to appear visible. I am impressed with the overall quality of the graphics, the good music and the speed you are getting. I know these are mostly just early development issues but you half expect comments like these when you 'publish' any piece of software! Stick with it! EDIT: Some of these comments relate to your other projects, specifically Amivania as I'm most interested in this game! Last edited by leathered; 02 March 2013 at 20:21. @Lielo thanks for your support, yes how you say Early Developments every thing specially Amivania gonna takes his time to perform all technical details thanks for the tips.
Your comments are wellcome of course , say I have many open projects right now and only 1 person at work so time to time Best Regards Amiten |
