A1200 Turbo 1220 battery
Hi
I purchased a turbo 1220, but it arrived minus battery. Could someone please tell me what battery I need to get for it and if possible somewhere that posts to aus that carries them. Thanks |

Turbo card batteries are more trouble than they're worth, IMHO.
The only benefit you will get from replacing the battery is a non-volatile RTC, but then you will also have the disadvantage of possible battery leakage and the damage it can cause if your machine is put in storage for any length of time. Just remember to set the time and date each time you power up your A1200 and you won't need to do anything else, just enjoy the speed boost the card gives to your Amiga experience! |

Thanks for the reply.
I think I might have got a dud it works for a while then the machines crashes with error 8 or 4 usually. It works fine without it. Anyone else had this issue ? |
