The Tennis games that support 4 players are the Great Courts/Pro Tennis Tour series. Brilliant fun.
Skidmarks, Skidmarks 2 etc, also support this device. |

Another tennis game that supports 4-player adaptor: Super Tennis Champs. Superb game.
As for your list, Korodny: Eat the Whistle - Planned but not implemented, afaik Street Racer - Yes Micro Machines 2 - n/a, as it never came out for the Amiga The Freeware games I don't know about. Blast Squad is a Bomberman clone, so I would expect it would support 4 players. Here is a thread about favourite multiplayer games, which has lots of references to 4-player games: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5308 |

Amiga will never die!

Do the majority of these games use a serial 4-player adapter or a parallel 4-player adapter, or both?

I have a parallel one and it works fine with every game I've tried.

I wonder, would a serial one work with all the games that were designed to use the parallel one, or would the games need additional support for it?
I know Super Skidmarks comes with directions on how to make a serial four-player adapter to use in that game. I'm also wondering if the same plans could be modified to use the CD32's serial/keyboard port, so a CD32 four-player adapter could be made. |

I think the games would need patching to be honest, though I'm no expert.
Another good multiplayer game - Tank Wars on Aminet in the game/2play section. Not that I'm biased you understand |

4-ply adapter plugs into parallel port. I built one myself recently to use with ppjoy to connect old joysticks to pc... it's really easy to built one if you get the right connectors. Just make sure to not get lost in cable salad

Second: I have to try that. I also think I once read that there is a beta version of Masterblaster ported to pc by the original author. Apparently that version included netplay?!?! Never found it though... seems pretty elusive, if it exists... Last edited by rsn8887; 24 June 2007 at 18:35. |
