VH1 Storytellers

Aimed mostly at all those fans of the 80s and 90s who did post in the corresponding music threads this bit of trivia, guys have you heard of the VH1 gigs plus laid-back interviews concept show called Storytellers ? It did took place during the late 90s and all through 2000's on that channel.

Quoted from wikipedia :
VH1 Storytellers is a television music series produced by the VH1 network. In each episode, artists perform in front of a (mostly small and intimate) live audience, and tell stories about their music, writing experiences and memories, somewhat similar to MTV Unplugged. The show started in 1996 with a broadcast of Ray Davies, during his "Storyteller" tour, and took its name from this first show.
So far, I've seen the "episodes" which do feature :
- Phil Collins (such a wonderful artist on stage)
- Billy Idol (he was invited twice, apparently)
- Ray Davis (The Kinks lead singer)
- R.E.M. (John Michael Stipe acted like he was feeling the pressure or something)
I plan to also watch Meat Loaf's and John Fogerty's, maybe a few more. They hosted Smashing Pumkins', Sting's and many others, give it a try!

There's a good documentary about Lemmy on Netflix at the moment.
