Obviously, I have to get a bit off-topic and post a link to the video ads for the Samyang Ramen noodles:

If you have never watched these, skip to 2:32 (for the long version) and try and recognize the music (not the silly lyrics).

Too carby for me, I'd only eat it for lunch when on vacation in an Asian country. Definitely not in some knock off place in the Netherlands that won't put the same amount of effort into the broth.

Ah yes, I have indeed Mainly got them cause of all the fuss last year (or the year before) on youtube with the challenges and stuff. turned out to be quite tasty I thought. they're acceptable for instant noodles.

However I got treated to a proper ramen "noodle bar" somewhere in Dublin and it was leagues above any instant packet stuff. I still make the mistake of pronouncing it "ray men" lol

Here in Paris, we have had an increase of Ramen restaurants openings since many years. The missus brought me to "les p√Ętes vivantes" (which means living noodles) a couple of times. There are two of these restaurants, avoid the one in Chatelet-les Halles (depersonalized service IMHO). I do enjoy that stuff personally, but some of their specialties are spicy as hell. There is one that has opened right underneath my balcony a few months ago. We went there once, but found the Ramen not cooked enough and the broth was nothing to write home about. Maybe I'll give it another go. If you're new to it, make sure your noodles and whatever accompanies them are immersed in broth, fried dishes made with these large sticky noodles can stay in the stomach.

Sik San aka The God Of Cookery (1996) by and featuring Stephen Chow is an absolute must watch if you're among the crowd of Chinese / Cantonese / Vietnamese cuisine followers. Here it is on YT, the full movie in its original version with English subtitles :

Or the trailer short of anything else, if you're planning to watch it at some other time :
