WinUAE: CDTV HD Emulation

Ciao Toni, using the Quikstart if I go in Expansions and I try to change CDTV DMAC with CDTV SCSI, on the saved config file the change is not saved, in practice the setting goes back up CDTV DMAC, where am I wrong?

It succeeds to save HD Controller "CDTV SCSI" only if you change Chipset Extra "CDTV To A500 or other Chipset"

Yes, it is old restriction that isn't updated yet. Chipset extra manual setting is needed.

Question Toni, a prepared device "without HD Controller CDTV SCSI" can start on one CDTV real (true) or can you encounter boot problems?

It is mostly safe. CDTV SCSI is almost same as A590/A2091 with 6.6 ROMs which means main restriction is 1G drive size limit which fortunately can be bypassed with direct scsi filesystems.
