I have also changed the music with the amiga one, even if after doing it i realized that after 15 minutes it's "a bit" boring. Quote:
It looks really good anyway, even if the collision detection is a bit different from the amiga one ( this doesn't mean is bad, it means that i moreless always loose ). The only thing that would be welcome is the music ( but i don't know if it's possible to play mp3 / ogg files with flash, anyway if you want i have no problem to stream it ). |

I agree with JohnnyWalker
Head Over Heels has to be the best remake! Considering the game is freeware the gfx are fantastic. Everyone should check this one out. |

Sorry if this has already been mentioned (I did a search but couldn't see it).
If you have a reasonably modern PC (1ghz+ and a 3D graphics card) and like arcade style games then please check these out: Star Wars - Battle of Endor (Return of the Jedi) Star Wars - Battle of Yarmin (A new Hope) Found at: www.bruneras.com/ (They are around 15 meg each to download) They are excellent 3D arcade shoot'em'ups that replicate battle scenes from the star wars movies without all the crap usually put into commercial games of this type (eg: Create a pilot, must complete training missions before starting, have to sit through boring 'movie' sequences, must earn points/money to improve pilot abilities, etc, etc). They are the old style - just load and start playing - and they're free. My machine is a Athlon 2ghz with an ArcadeVGA (Radeon 7000) card and runs these fine (and is fun to play in an arcade cabinet ) |

There is a pretty good remake for Windows of the BBC Micro Game Xor (also released on several other platforms and on the Amiga as Prospector in the Mazes of Xor).
The Amiga version is still better though - better GFX, and a second set of levels (not included in any of the other versions of Xor). It is the only version of Xor available for Windows, and is available for download at: http://xor.ovine.net/ Ovine design also have several other games available for download (although I have not tried any of them). see: http://ovine.net/games.php |

Any links with SWIV Decimation?
Those in that site are dead. Is it a complete game or just the 1st level? Thanks in advance. |

All are of above average quality. Whilst not all Amiga titles (some are speccy) I have enjoyed a lot of them. Atic Atac is quite cool, but I still prefer the original The remakes of Freescape games Driller and Total Eclipse on http://Ovine.net are very good too. |

Of games that were released for Amiga, some good remakes are:
Katakis (Takatis) Space Harrier Star Wars Stunt Car Racer Jumping Jack'Son Afterburner Cybernoid Millenium 2.2 Head over Heels and some from C64: Delta Zaxxon Sword of Fargoal Ant Attack I think I would have got most of them from remakes.org... |
