A strange Amiga 500 request

I’m on a quest, a quest to find my original Amiga 500 that I sold in 1993. I’d like to restore it if required, upgrade it with a ACA500+ or a Vampire 500 and hang it on a wall in my office. This machine helped launch my IT career and it does have sentimental value to me. It helped me get the job working for Commodore in the Philippines way back in 1991. I sold it in Saudi Arabia in 1993 to a British Amiga friend who’s name unfortunately escapes me since it’s been so many years ago. It’s unique since I painted it camouflage and it did have a CSA 50 Mzh 68030 accelerator. I know this quest is pretty futile but I want to start it anyway . Hell someone could easily create a convincing fake of my A500 by painting another Amiga 500 camouflage. I’d still remember my bad paint job from 1990 so may be able to spot it. Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone else have this type of stories to share? Anyone else trying to hunt down their old Amiga or heaven forbid Windows PC?

Since it’s very unlikely that I’ll be able to find my old A500 maybe I should just buy Robs A500++ and a new Amiga 500 case and rebuild the spirt of my old machine in a brand new one? I’m not sure I would have the skill set to transplant the chips from a donor A500 though.

Buy the case, put it on the wall?

Then build yourself a kickass Amiga to play with?!

It would be a shame to have the Amiga brains sitting on a wall gathering dust!

The wall is only for storage when machine is off. It should clip into a wall mount for temp storage only.
