I've isolated the applicable posts (fortunately there were no awkward references to them) and given the new thread an appropriate title, but you should feel free to suggest another if you had a better one in mind. Okay, let the show continue! Edit: You beat me to the post! |

So the one with black bars was working on my 1200. The other one showed nothing. I only got the copper background for that one. DamienD, maybe you could try to make them in 256 colours or more and I will try to let my workbench scale them down to the colour depth i set. The quality was not horrible, but could probably be better. Thanks!

I looks okay but a bit too washed out. Logos looks better though. The background that comes with Classic WB advanced I think are made from at least 256 colours or much more because they have excellent quality even in 64 colours. So would be nice if you could try to make these with at least 256 colours or even much more. To see how it works. Also, the aspect ratio is perfect as I am using 640x512 for my Workbench

a) Amiga_64colours.zip (reprocess of the "Amiga" only wallpaper in 64 colours / IFF format) b) Amiga_Wallpaper_256colours.zip (both wallpapers now in 256 colours / IFF format) Unfortunately I can test / see on a real Amiga so you need to be my eyes on this. Not quite right, let me know I'll try different processing options |

The 64 colour version with the black bars and logos actually looks quite nice as a background for my Amiga 1200

Can you take a piccie so that I can see roughly how it looks? Quote:
I wonder how they would look if I left them in the original colour depth but you then used the Amiga to "downscale" so to speak? |
