[Found: Mash] Send soldiers & tanks towards the enemy, graphics like Worms & Lemmings

I am searching for the name of a game. I think it was a PD game, it looked a little bit like Worms or Lemmings, with a scrolling sideview, but it was real time, and each level had one base at each end, and you had to contantly build or buy units like soldiers or tanks and send them towards the enemy base. I think the tank sprite was blue and looked like it was rendered from a 3d model.
the map I remember was like a long tunnel-like cave or red-brown stone or earth.
I believe you had no direct control over units, or limited control at best, you basically just built them and send them on their way and eventually you would overcome the forces coming from the enemy's side and capture his HQ.

Great! First time I've been able to guess one of these

I had a lot of fun with this on my A500 some years ago. Just gave it a try again under FS-UAE on my laptop... it definitely needs a real mouse! Impossible to play with a trackpad.

I tried playing it but found it to be in fact unplayable :> The mouse control and overall UI doesn't lend itself well to real-time action, but I hear that the two player mode is turn based, so I guess this would make things far more enjoyable. For bow, I'll stick to Worms: DC and Scorched Tanks
