Skippi

Dear gang,

our friend Rygar uploaded a nice little jump'n run game called Skippi:

https://ftp2.grandis.nu/turran/FTP/~...y)/scs-lab.dms

However, this dump and all other dums/ADFs I found have a read error. You can see it when trying to use the included HD-installation tool and also when trying to select the 3rd menu-option in the game. The game will crash then.

So, anybody out there who has a 100%-version of that little game?

Enjoy the day,

Patrick

Sorry ross, the game works and it's quite discreet but the image is still corrupted.
It was possible to repair the "oc" file with the data from the "rp" file, they have the same background.

Yep, that's the reason why I asked if the fix was ok, I didn't check if the image was correct at all, I just manually reconstructed the OFS metadata chain in the "bad" sector.
EDIT: now you know why I didn't tag the release with my name

Nice job!

Just out of curiosity, aside from not be byte perfect, are the images visually different?

The defect is at the beginning of the file, i.e. at the top of the image (It gives a dithering effect on the pebbles, particularly visible above the "OPCJE" inscription)
Fix v1 VS Fix v2

This is strange, maybe you have some different settings?

I have the impression that your ingame screenshots are taken after filtering, not before.
They're distorted by the change in resolution, aren't they?
